We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Java Developer to join our growing software development team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who have a strong foundation in Java programming and are eager to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

As a Junior Java Developer, you will work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and other cross-functional teams. You will assist in developing new features, maintaining existing applications, debugging technical issues, and learning modern Java development frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code

Assist in developing backend applications and services

Work with senior developers to implement new features and improvements

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs

Debug and troubleshoot application issues

Perform unit testing and support application testing activities

Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data

Assist in identifying and resolving software defects

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and project teams

Maintain technical documentation and development records

Follow coding standards and software development best practices

Learn and work with modern Java frameworks and technologies

Assist with application deployment and maintenance activities

Required Skills & Qualifications





0–2 years of experience in Java Development, including internships, academic projects, or freelance experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

Strong understanding of Core Java

Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms

Basic knowledge of Spring Framework / Spring Boot

Familiarity with REST APIs

Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases

Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases

Familiarity with Git and GitHub

Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities
