About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Architect specializing in Java to join our dynamic team at Quantiphi. The ideal candidate will bring 7 to 12 years of experience in enterprise application development and modernization, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Java-based solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet evolving business needs.

The Associate

Architect will play a pivotal role in guiding technical strategies, ensuring best practices in architecture, and mentoring junior team members. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilize the latest cloud and microservices technologies, and contribute to the digital transformation journey of top-tier organizations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive hands-on experience in Java application development, modernization,



and enterprise web applications is essential. Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring Boot, J2EE, and REST/SOAP APIs is required.

Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with cloud-native development, deployment, and security practices are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in API integration, application security, and automated code modernization tools like AWS Transform Custom or similar. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are vital to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities The Associate Architect will be responsible for bridging client requirements with technical solutions, ensuring seamless project execution from initiation to closure.

Key responsibilities include supporting the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise Java applications, and contributing to modernization initiatives by upgrading legacy systems to newer Java LTS versions such as Java 17, 21, or 25. The role involves engaging with clients to understand their technical demands, negotiating project scope, and creating comprehensive technical documentation.

The candidate will supervise activities between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines. They will evaluate project data for accuracy, set project priorities, and provide mentorship to team members to foster skill development. Staying current with industry best practices,



emerging technologies, and trends is essential to deliver creative solutions and maintain high service standards.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing customer technical demands, assisting in identifying optimal deployment strategies, and ensuring APIs are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
