Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Internship Trainee role based in Mumbai.

The Internship

Trainee will support senior team members in audit and assurance engagements, including documentation, testing of controls, data compilation, and preparation of working papers. The role involves assisting with tax computation, return preparation, and basic compliance activities under direct supervision. The trainee will help in drafting reports, preparing presentations, and conducting preliminary research for advisory and consulting assignments.

Responsibilities also include maintaining orderly records, updating internal trackers,



coordinating with client teams for information, and learning to use firm-specific tools, spreadsheets, and data analytics platforms. The position offers structured learning, mentoring, and exposure to multiple functional areas within the firm’s practice.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of accounting, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts, gained through academic study or early-stage professional training.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work accurately with financial data, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and willingness to learn data analytics and audit tools used by the firm.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing working papers, summaries, and client-facing documents.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and maintain a professional demeanor in client interactions.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a commerce, finance, accounting, or related degree; pursuing skilled qualifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, openness to feedback, and interest in building a career in audit, taxation, or advisory services.
