Full Stack Developer – Node.js, React.js & Azure Functions (JavaScript/TypeScript)

About the Role-

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and hands-on experience building serverless solutions with Azure Function Apps. You will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-native services, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance software.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and React.js

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in JavaScript and TypeScript

Build, deploy, and manage serverless applications using Azure Function Apps

Design and implement event-driven and trigger-based architectures (HTTP, Timer, Queue, Blob, Event Grid triggers)

Build and consume RESTful APIs / GraphQL services for frontend-backend integration

Develop reusable, testable, and efficient front-end components using React.js (hooks, context API, state management)

Integrate Azure services such as Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, and Key Vault into applications

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into responsive, high-performance interfaces

Monitor and optimize Azure Function performance, cold-start behavior, and cost efficiency

Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure

Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure application and function reliability

Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design efficient data models and queries





Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying Function Apps and web applications (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)

Implement security best practices for APIs and serverless functions (authentication, authorization, API Management)

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Robust hands-on experience with Node.js (Express.js or similar frameworks)

Proficiency in React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management (Redux/Context API)

Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

Practical experience building and deploying Azure Function Apps (serverless architecture)

Experience with Azure services: Storage Accounts, Cosmos DB, Service Bus/Event Grid, API Management, Key Vault

Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs / GraphQL

Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel)

Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/Azure Repos)

Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB)

Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

Understanding of containerization (Docker) is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have-

Experience with Next.js

Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture

Exposure to Application Insights for monitoring and diagnostics

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
