Role Description The DevOps Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role oversees the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable builds, automated testing, and smooth deployments across environments. The DevOps Manager will manage and mentor a cross-functional DevOps team, collaborate with software development and QA teams to integrate tooling and processes, and monitor infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.

Daily responsibilities include improving automation coverage, enhancing system observability, resolving production issues, and enforcing best practices in configuration management and incident response. The role also involves capacity planning, setting standardization,



and continuous improvement of delivery workflows to support rapid and stable product releases.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Integration, with experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in Test Automation and Continuous Integration, including designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Infrastructure management, including cloud platforms, containerization, networking, and system security.
- Experience leading DevOps or platform engineering teams, with proven ability to mentor, coordinate work, and drive process improvements.
- Proficiency with tools such as Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring and logging stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on reliability, performance, and incident management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in security best practices, automation scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
