Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Deep hands-on experience administering GitLab SaaS or GitLab Enterprise environments, including CI/CD, runners, governance, authentication, permissions, and platform integrations.
- Robust experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, and cloud-native platform engineering practices.
- Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted tools within engineering workflows
- Proven ability to own and operate production platforms end-to-end, including governance, access control, architecture, and scalability (beyond CI/CD pipeline management)

Responsibilities include
- Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for GitLab SaaS, including platform governance, configuration, access management, group/project structure, and lifecycle management.
- Design,



administer, and support GitLab Runners, CI/CD templates, shared components, and developer self-service capabilities.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices and integrating GitLab with Terraform Cloud, Kubernetes, and enterprise identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, SAML, SSO).
- Manage integrations between GitLab and enterprise tools including identity providers, security tooling, observability platforms, and Terraform Cloud.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to implement SSDLC standards, access controls, audit requirements, and platform guardrails.
- Drive adoption of GitLab best practices across development teams through enablement, documentation, and coaching.
