Role Description This is a full time remote Data Scientist role.
The Data
Scientist will collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets to support the creation of industry whitepapers, research reports, and strategic insights for Top 1% companies. Daily responsibilities include building and validating statistical and machine learning models, performing exploratory data analysis, and developing clear visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings. The role involves collaborating with research, product, and client teams to frame business problems, translate them into analytical approaches, and present data-driven recommendations in a concise, accessible manner.
The Data
Scientist will also document methodologies, ensure data quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of analytic frameworks and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Science and Statistics, with the ability to design experiments, build models, and interpret quantitative results.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis to extract insights, identify patterns, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience in Data Visualization, including creating clear, informative charts, dashboards, and visual narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages and tools commonly used in data science (e.g., Python or R, SQL, and relevant libraries/frameworks).
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, model evaluation, and deployment best practices.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts in straightforward language, both in writing and verbally.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment, managing priorities, and collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
- Experience working with business, market, or industry data; exposure to AI or cybersecurity topics is a plus.
