We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain data systems that support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work with technical teams to ensure data is reliable, accessible, secure and efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.

- Collect, transform and integrate data from multiple sources.

- Develop and optimise databases and data processing systems.

- Ensure data quality, accuracy, security and availability.

- Work closely with data scientists, analysts and software engineers.

- Identify opportunities to improve data processes and system performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related technical issues.

- Maintain technical documentation and follow data governance standards.





- Support the implementation of cloud-based data solutions.

Requirements

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.

- Understanding of databases, ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud is desirable.

- Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies is an advantage.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
