We need analysts who can understand a business problem, find the right data, build reliable datasets, automate recurring reporting, and translate numbers into insights that teams can act on.

- Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards

Understand Business & Data Requirements

- Work with Product, Operations, Category, and other business teams to understand their data requirements
- Understand the business question before starting the analysis
- Explore available data and identify the right tables,



fields, and relationships
- Translate business requirements into clear data outputs

Build & Query Data Using SQL
- Write SQL queries to extract, combine, transform, and analyze data
- Work across multiple tables and datasets to answer business questions
- Use joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions where required
- Handle missing or inconsistent data appropriately
- Build queries that are clear, accurate, and efficient

Automate Reporting
- Identify repetitive and manual reporting activities that can be automated
- Replace manual Excel/CSV-based processes with scalable data workflows wherever possible
- Build reports that refresh automatically
- Reduce dependency on recurring manual data preparation
- Continuously look for opportunities to make reporting faster and more reliable

Build Dashboards & Data Products
- Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as Looker / Google Data Studio / Power BI
- Connect visualization tools directly with databases wherever applicable
- Design dashboards that allow business teams to understand performance independently
- Structure information so that important trends and problems are easy to identify
- Maintain accuracy and reliability of dashboard outputs

Analyze Data & Find Insights
- Go beyond reporting what happened and investigate why it happened
- Identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and business opportunities
- Connect different data points to develop meaningful insights
- Highlight issues proactively rather than waiting for teams to ask
- Recommend actions based on what the data indicates

Communicate Findings Clearly
- Present findings to business and operations stakeholders
- Explain complex analysis in simple business language
- Use data to support recommendations and decisions
- Build dashboards and presentations that tell a clear story rather than simply displaying numbers

Maintain Data Quality & Reliability
- Review datasets and reports for accuracy and consistency
- Identify data gaps, errors, or unexpected changes
- Understand the source and logic behind important business metrics
- Take ownership of resolving data issues and blockers with relevant teams

- Robust independent working ability in SQL
- Manual reports are progressively replaced with automated solutions

Experience we value

- 1 - 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or similar roles
- Experience in a high-growth B2C environment is preferred
- Exposure to hospitality, e-commerce, financial services, consumer internet, or similar businesses is an advantage
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL is mandatory

Comfortable with:

- Joins across multiple tables
- GROUP BY and HAVING
- CTEs
- Window functions such as RANK, LEAD, and LAG
- Handling NULL values and data inconsistencies
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Looker / Google Data Studio; Power BI is an advantage
- Experience connecting BI/reporting tools directly to databases is strongly preferred
- Exposure to reporting automation and data modelling is valuable

Education - Preferred backgrounds:

- B.Tech / B.E Computer Science, IT, ECE, or related disciplines
- B.Sc / M.Sc Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative disciplines
- Solid hands-on analytical capability and SQL proficiency matter more than qualification alone.
