We are looking for a hands-on Cloud DevOps Lead who can take technical ownership of AWS platforms while continuing to work directly with infrastructure, automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, security and production troubleshooting.

This is a hands-on technical lead position, not a purely managerial DevOps role.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Cloud & Platform Engineering

- Design, build and manage secure, scalable and highly available AWS infrastructure.
- Own AWS platform architecture, reliability, performance, security and operational health.
- Design and manage AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups and load balancers.
- Implement IAM, least-privilege access and cloud security best practices.
- Establish standards for backup, disaster recovery, resiliency and cloud governance.
- Identify cloud performance and cost-optimization opportunities.

Terraform & Infrastructure as Code

- Design and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS-native tooling.
- Build reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure templates.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment.
- Standardize Infrastructure-as-Code practices across environments.
- Review Terraform configurations and infrastructure designs produced by other engineers.

Kubernetes / EKS & Containers

- Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes-based workloads.




- Work extensively with Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on AWS EKS experience strongly preferred.
- Establish reusable Kubernetes deployment patterns and automation.
- Support containerization and application-modernization initiatives.
- Work with Helm, ArgoCD or GitOps practices where applicable.

CI/CD & Automation

- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Automate application and infrastructure deployments.
- Implement standardized build, release, rollback and environment-promotion practices.
- Integrate testing, security and quality controls into delivery pipelines.

Monitoring, Reliability & Production Support

- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or Datadog.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for cloud, infrastructure, Kubernetes and deployment incidents.
- Improve infrastructure availability, deployment reliability, MTTR and change-failure rates.
- Drive proactive monitoring and incident prevention.

Technical Leadership

- Take technical ownership of Cloud and DevOps solutions from design through production.
- Review infrastructure architecture, Terraform, CI/CD and deployment approaches.
- Establish reusable engineering standards and automation frameworks.
- Mentor and guide Cloud/DevOps engineers.
- Support technical estimation,



solution planning and architecture reviews.
- Identify technical risks and work with architects and delivery teams to resolve them.
- Participate in technical discussions with global/client stakeholders.

Required Skills
- 610 years of relevant Cloud/DevOps engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong AWS infrastructure architecture, networking, IAM and security knowledge.
- Strong hands-on Terraform experience.
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong Linux administration/troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation.
- Monitoring/observability experience.
- Scripting using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
- Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Demonstrated technical ownership of Cloud/DevOps solutions.
- Ability to review technical work and guide engineers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
