C++ Embedded Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced C++ Embedded Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Embedded C/C++, RTOS, and Embedded Linux. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, debugging, and maintaining embedded software for real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C/C++.

- Develop applications and firmware for RTOS-based embedded systems.

- Work with RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX, or similar.

- Develop and debug multithreaded and real-time applications.

- Perform low-level debugging using tools such as GDB, JTAG, and debugging/profiling tools.

- Work on Embedded Linux environments and system-level software.

- Develop or integrate device drivers and hardware interfaces.

- Work with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, TCP/IP, and UDP.

- Analyze software and system issues and perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.

- Participate in software design, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.

- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and systems engineering teams.

- Use Git, CMake/Make, GCC, Jenkins, and other development/build tools.





- Optimize code for performance, memory utilization, reliability, and real-time response.

- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to software development standards.

Required Skills

- 48 years of experience in embedded software development.

- Strong programming experience in C++ and Embedded C.

- Hands-on experience with RTOS.

- Valuable understanding of multithreading, synchronization, IPC, memory management, and real-time concepts.

- Experience with Embedded Linux.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Knowledge of ARM/Cortex architecture is preferred.

- Experience with embedded communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and version control using Git.

- Experience with CMake/Make, GCC, GDB or equivalent tools.

Good to Have

- Experience with FreeRTOS / VxWorks / QNX / ThreadX.

- Yocto / Embedded Linux build systems.

- Device driver development.

- Jenkins / CI-CD.

- Google Test or other unit-testing frameworks.

- Networking protocols and embedded connectivity.

- Experience working closely with hardware and system teams.
