What's the Role?

As a Backend Developer at Quloi, you'll be playing a pivotal role in building, enhancing, and maintaining our SaaS products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our software meets the highest standards and provides our users with a seamless, efficient, and powerful experience.

Responsibilities/ Duties

Design, Develop & Deploy: Architect, build, and maintain scalable and robust backend services using Node.js, GraphQL, and MongoDB.

API Development: Design and implement effective GraphQL & Node APIs, ensuring data integrity and security.

Database Management: Handle complex database operations, optimize queries, and ensure smooth data retrieval with MongoDB.

Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless integration.

Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions to address and mitigate these issues.

Code Quality & Best Practices: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Adhere to established coding standards and participate in code reviews.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our product remains at the forefront of logistic tech solutions.

Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation for API endpoints, database schemas, and other relevant software components.

Security:



Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard sensitive information and ensure data privacy.

Scalability: Design systems that cater to a growing user base, handling increased loads and ensuring uptime.

Criteria for the Role!

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in backend development, particularly with Node.js, GraphQL, and MongoDB.

SaaS Experience: Prior experience working on a SaaS product company / product-based organization is required.

Startup Experience: Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
