Job Purpose

Responsible for managing end-to-end Corporate Action activities, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing of both voluntary and involuntary events. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective stakeholder management and the ability to manage highly time-sensitive and market-driven activities.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Corporate Action Processing

Manage voluntary and involuntary Corporate Action events from announcement through completion.
Review event details, validate eligibility and ensure accurate processing of client entitlements.
Handle activities such as dividends, interest, bonus, rights, mergers,



tender offers and other market events.

Event Tracking & Monitoring

Track Corporate Action announcements, deadlines, record dates, ex-dates and payment dates.
Ensure all critical milestones are monitored and actioned within prescribed timelines.
Proactively follow up on pending inputs and exceptions to avoid missed deadlines.

Voluntary Corporate Actions & Voting

Manage client elections and instructions for voluntary events within market deadlines.
Coordinate and facilitate proxy voting / voting-related activities, ensuring instructions are captured, validated and submitted accurately.
Monitor outstanding elections and escalate potential risks before cut-off times.

Time-Critical Operations

Manage activities where strict market and client deadlines apply.
Prioritise urgent events and ensure timely execution to prevent financial, operational or client impact.
