Job Description
Support the development and commercialization of leather materials for seasonal and carry-over collections.
Evaluate leather materials against technical, quality, durability, aesthetic, and manufacturing standards.
Conduct detailed assessments of leather properties, including grading, colour consistency, thickness, finish, softness, and performance.
Coordinate laboratory testing and validate material compliance with established quality requirements.
Develop and maintain leather specifications, colour standards, defect acceptance criteria, and finishing guidelines.




Collaborate with Product Development teams to identify suitable leather materials for recent product development initiatives.
Partner with suppliers and tanneries to resolve technical challenges and improve material performance.
Support supplier evaluations, material audits, and continuous improvement programs.
Maintain technical documentation, testing records, material libraries, and approval databases.
Ensure compliance documentation and technical certifications are accurate and up to date.
Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams to investigate material-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
Support sustainability initiatives through responsible sourcing and environmentally compliant materials.
Participate in cross-functional projects focused on innovation, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.
