Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security SME

We are looking for an experienced Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review and validate curriculum content, assessments, and standards alignment for CTE educational programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and validate AI-assisted curriculum content for technical accuracy, grade-level appropriateness, and industry relevance .
- Review and verify alignment with National and State CTE standards , including AL, TX, GA, NC, and CA.
- Review curriculum correlation, standards mapping, learning objectives, and instructional materials.
- Review and validate assessments, including formative questions, knowledge checks, and certification-prep content.
- Review law, criminal justice, forensic science, public safety, emergency response, and corrections content.
- Review multimedia assets such as images, videos, animations, and interactive activities for subject and procedural accuracy.
- Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and required revisions.
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Content Developers, Editors, and Project Managers to finalize high-quality course materials.
- Ensure content is accurate, standards-aligned, pedagogically appropriate,



and ready for publication.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Forensic Science, Homeland Security, Public Administration , or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of relevant teaching, curriculum development, or industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of criminal justice, legal systems, forensic science, public safety, corrections, and investigative procedures .
- Experience reviewing educational or technical content is preferred.
- Knowledge of state standards, curriculum mapping, and standards alignment .
- Solid editing, proofreading, analytical, and quality-assurance skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and meeting deadlines.
