Job Summary

SS Freight Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented US Freight Brokerage Compliance Executive to manage carrier compliance, carrier onboarding, documentation, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements for US freight brokerage operations.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of US trucking and freight brokerage processes and be comfortable working with carrier documents, FMCSA records, insurance, authority, and compliance checks.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle carrier onboarding and qualification for US trucking operations.
- Verify carrier MC/DOT authority and operating status.
- Check carrier information through FMCSA/SAFER and other approved sources.
- Verify commercial auto liability and cargo insurance.
- Monitor insurance and other compliance-document expiration dates.
- Carrier and customer onboarding
- Review carrier agreements, W-9s, operating authority, and supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate and updated carrier compliance records.
- Conduct periodic carrier re-qualification and compliance reviews.
- Identify potentially fraudulent or high-risk carriers.
- Check for red flags related to double brokering, identity theft, fictitious carriers, and fraudulent documentation.




- Coordinate with operations and carrier-sales teams to resolve compliance issues.
- Escalate non-compliant or suspicious carriers according to company policy.
- Maintain compliance reports and audit records.
- Stay updated on applicable FMCSA/DOT rules and US transportation regulations.
- Support internal and customer compliance audits.

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of experience in US freight brokerage, carrier compliance, carrier onboarding, or US logistics preferred.
- Knowledge of US trucking terminology and freight brokerage operations.
- Understanding of MC Number, DOT Number, FMCSA, SAFER, BOC-3, COI, W-9, cargo insurance, and liability insurance.
- Good analytical and verification skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and compliance risks.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with US-based teams.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with a US freight brokerage/TMS.
- Experience handling carrier on boarding and qualification.
- Experience identifying double-brokering and carrier fraud.
- Familiarity with FMCSA Licensing & Insurance and SAFER systems.
- Experience in a US-night-shift logistics environment is an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
