Role Description The Auditor – HACT, Internal Audit, UN Projects will perform end-to-end audits of UN and development sector projects, with a specific focus on HACT-compliant procedures and internal control reviews. This full-time, on-site role based in Delhi involves planning audit engagements, conducting fieldwork, testing internal controls, and reviewing financial and operational records for compliance with donor and organizational guidelines. The role includes preparing clear working papers, drafting audit reports with observations and recommendations, and participating in discussions with client management and donor representatives.

The auditor will also support risk assessments, contribute to process improvements,



and ensure timely completion of assignments in line with Singhi & Co.’s quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control testing, preferably with exposure to HACT and UN project audit frameworks will be preferred.
- Experience in financial auditing, documentation review, and compliance checks for donor-funded or development sector projects.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret regulations, and prepare concise, high-quality audit reports and working papers.
- Solid understanding of accounting and assurance principles; familiarity with IFRS/Ind AS and relevant standards is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with audit and documentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CIA, CMA, CA Inter, CMA Inter or equivalent are preferred.
- Ability to work, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Prior experience with UN agencies, NGOs, or multilateral organizations is a plus.
