Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support, enhance, and maintain SMART-based retail applications
n
- Analyze application stack, business workflows, and technical dependencies
n
- Identify input/output sources, APIs/services, batch jobs, logs, and tables
n
- Work on reverse engineering, documentation, and legacy system understanding
n
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide incident / cutover support
n
- Support data extraction, monitoring, and operational validation activities
n
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand application behavior and modernization requirements
n

n

Must-Have Skills

n

n
- Solid hands-on experience in SMART or similar retail legacy systems
n
- Strong expertise in Informix 4GL, Informix SQL, and ESQL
n
- Good experience with Unix/Linux
n
- Strong scripting experience in Shell and/or Perl
n




- Experience in production support, batch jobs, incident analysis, logs, and data tracing
n
- Strong understanding of retail store operations / POS / inventory / replenishment workflows
n
- Ability to understand and explain legacy application architecture and data flow
n

Good to Have

n

n
- Experience with Concord, IMS, Resource Manager, Splunk, Teradata, ServiceNow
n
- Exposure to legacy decommissioning / migration / modernization
n
- Experience supporting store back-end applications
n
- Ability to create technical documentation and support reverse engineering initiatives
n
