We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Recruiter Trainee to join our recruitment team. This role is ideal for candidates who are interested in building a career in IT recruitment and talent acquisition. The selected candidate will receive hands-on exposure to sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and end-to-end recruitment processes for various IT positions.

The trainee will work closely with experienced recruiters and hiring teams to understand client requirements, identify suitable candidates, maintain recruitment pipelines, and support timely closures. The role provides an opportunity to learn recruitment for niche and super-niche IT skills, along with exposure to Subcontracting and Full-Time Employment (FTE) hiring models and GSI (Global Systems Integrator) accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand and analyze IT job requirements and client expectations.
- Source candidates through job portals, ATS, professional networks, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct candidate calling and initial screening based on technical skills, experience, location, availability, and other job requirements.
- Learn and apply headhunting techniques to identify suitable and passive candidates.
- Maintain and update candidate information, submissions, interview status, and follow-ups in the ATS.
- Coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview scheduling and follow-ups.
- Work closely with senior recruiters and internal teams to understand recruitment strategies and client requirements.




- Develop and maintain a healthy candidate pipeline for current and upcoming requirements.
- Assist in recruitment for niche and super-niche IT skills across different technology domains.
- Gain exposure to Subcontracting and FTE recruitment models.
- Support recruitment activities for GSI accounts and understand their staffing requirements.
- Follow up with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure timely closures.
- Meet assigned daily/weekly sourcing, calling, submission, and recruitment targets.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and ensure timely updates in the ATS and internal trackers.
- Continuously learn about emerging technologies, IT skills, recruitment practices, and market trends.

Required Skills Qualifications:

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Strong interest in building a career in IT Recruitment / Talent Acquisition.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to make extensive candidate calls and engage with candidates professionally.
- Basic understanding of MS Excel, email, and internet-based sourcing tools.
- Ability to learn and work with ATS and recruitment portals.
- Solid follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work from office and learn new recruitment processes and technologies.
