Senior Functional Consultant - SAP BI

KSB Pumps Limited is seeking a Senior Functional Consultant - SAP BI to join our team. This role is integral to our SAP BI operations, involving close collaboration with KSB SE KGaA IT and Global Process Owners. You will be responsible for the entire SAP BW lifecycle, from requirement gathering to design, implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing support in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the whole SAP BW lifecycle, including requirements analysis with business departments.
- Manage Data Extraction / Real-time consumption via SDA/CDS.
- Create Reports / Applications / Authorizations.
- Perform testing, approval, and quality assurance, with a focus on process optimizations.
- Document applications and processes.
- Support the BI team in the realization of system changes in SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects (BO).
- Ensure the operability of SAP BW on HANA and SAP BO.
- Process incidents, service requests, and authorization tasks.
- Support SAP BW / BO users worldwide.




- Participate in exciting and innovative projects and implement your own projects in SAP BW / SAP BO / SAP HANA.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of the complete SAP BW lifecycle.
- Expertise in Requirements Analysis.
- Proficiency in Data Extraction / Real-time consumption (SDA/CDS).
- Ability to create Reports, Applications, and manage Authorizations.
- Experience in testing, approval, and quality assurance, with a focus on process optimization.
- Skilled in documentation of applications and processes.
- Ability to provide comprehensive support for SAP BW on HANA and SAP BO.
- Proficiency in processing incidents, service requests, and authorization tasks.
- Robust problem-solving skills for user support and system issues.
- Excellent communication skills for working in an international environment (Germany, India).
