Job Description Oracle Integration Consultant (Master Data)

Role

Build and support the integration that publishes governed Material and Service master records from the PiLog Data Quality and Governance Suite into the client's Oracle system, whether that is Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Cloud.

What you will do:

- Build the interface that pushes approved Material and Service master records from the governance suite into the client's Oracle system.

- Support create, update, extend-to-organization and status-change operations for items.

- Handle both bulk loading for initial migration and record-by-record publishing for day-to-day governance.

- Map governed classification, descriptions, characteristics and unit of measure into the correct Oracle item fields, categories and attribute structures.

- Deliver screen enhancements and new functionality inside the Oracle application where the client needs it extending existing pages, adding validations or building current user interfaces using Oracle Application Express for E-Business Suite and Visual Builder for Fusion, including the interfacing behind those screens.

- Work with an application programming interface gateway such as Google Apigee where the client routes integration traffic through one publishing the endpoints, applying security policies, and configuring throttling and traffic limits.

- Manage rejections — capture the Oracle error, return it to the governance suite in a readable form, and support reprocessing.

- Pick up changes made directly in Oracle and feed them back to the governance suite so both systems stay aligned.

- Produce reconciliation reports comparing record counts and values between the two systems after each load.

- Support testing, user acceptance,



cutover and post go-live hypercare with the client team.

What you need:

- 3+ years working on Oracle master data integration, on Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Cloud (either is acceptable; both is preferred).

- Solid understanding of the Oracle item master: master organization versus plant organization, item categories and catalogs, unit of measure, item status, and how service items differ from material items.

- For Oracle E-Business Suite: PL/SQL, the standard item application programming interfaces, interface tables with the Item Import concurrent program, and exposing services through Integrated SOA Gateway, SOA Suite or Oracle Integration Cloud.

- For Oracle Fusion Cloud: the delivered item web services, File-Based Data Import, item classes and extensible flexfields, and Oracle Integration Cloud.

- Practical experience building or extending screens with Oracle Application Express or Visual Builder, and connecting them to backend services.

- Working awareness of Google Apigee or a comparable gateway — how proxies are created in front of a backend service, how authentication and access tokens are applied, and how rate limits and quotas affect an integration.

- Comfortable working with structured data files, web service payloads and field-level mapping documents.

- Able to work directly with client business and technical users, and to document what was built.

Good to have:

- Hands-on Google Apigee configuration experience, including proxy deployment across environments and monitoring through the gateway analytics.

- Exposure to master data management or data governance tooling.

- Familiarity with Equipment or Plant Maintenance master data, as the scope extends there after Material and Service.

- Experience on a data migration or cleansing programme.
