Role & responsibilities

Detailed report writing focusing on industry dynamics, competitive scenario and peer group comparison to support the financials.

- Conducting in-depth fundamental / financial analysis of companies and making Financial Models for the same along with financial forecasting for the next 2-3 years.
- Preparing reports for clients by projecting income statements, Balance Sheet Analysis, Cash Flow Calculation.
- Working on Valuation of equity with different Methods like Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), SOTP and Relative Valuation.
- Peer Group Comparisons for listed/unlisted public limited companies.
- Maintaining an extensive coverage list of companies and keeping track of all the developments in those companies and sectors.
- Coming up with regular Update such as Initiating coverage, Sector outlooks, Result updates, Event updates, IPO note.




- Attending the company's conference call and meeting with management.
- Researching on ideas: understanding sector dynamics, reading historical annual reports, analyzing financial statements, meeting management, scuttlebutt, comparative analysis, report writing and investment presentations
- Reviewing universe of companies: reviewing valuation models, revisiting investment thesis on quarterly / annual basis. Meeting management, attending AGMs, distributor checks, attending exhibition's and concall

Preferred candidate profile

3-8 years of experience in equity research

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Proficient is using Ms-excel and Ms word
