Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 3-4 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the Life Insurance domain. The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end business processes, preparing comprehensive test scenarios, executing functional and regression testing, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Life Insurance products, policy administration systems, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Responsibilities

- Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, and Technical Design Documents.
- Prepare detailed Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data based on business requirements.
- Execute Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Validate end-to-end Life Insurance business processes across various modules.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to resolve issues.




- Perform API validation using Postman or Swagger (basic level).
- Execute database validation using SQL queries.
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings.
- Prepare Test Summary Reports, Defect Reports, and Daily Status Reports.
- Ensure complete Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) coverage.
- Support production verification and post-deployment validation activities.
- Maintain testing documentation according to organizational standards.
- Life Insurance Domain Knowledge Hands-on experience in one or more of the following modules: Recent Business Policy Issuance Proposal Processing Underwriting Medical Financial Underwriting Premium Collection Policy Servicing Renewal Processing Policy Endorsements Fund Switching (ULIP) Claims Processing (Death Maturity) Surrender Partial Withdrawal Loan Against Policy Reinstatement / Revival Customer Portal / Agent Portal Commission Processing
