We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Finance & Accounts function for our steel manufacturing operations at Niwari. The CFO will be responsible for driving financial strategy, profitability, cost optimization, financial planning, working capital management, compliance, MIS and overall financial governance of the plant.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the Steel/Metals/Manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of managing plant finance and partnering with business leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function for the steel plant.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Drive FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, business plans and monthly forecasts.
- Provide management with timely MIS, financial analysis and business performance reports.
- Drive plant costing, product costing, cost control and variance analysis.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, conversion costs, power/fuel costs, material consumption and operational efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement and margin enhancement.
- Manage working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables and inventory.
- Oversee banking relationships,



fund management and financing requirements.
- Ensure effective control over CAPEX, project expenditure and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with direct & indirect taxation, GST, Companies Act, accounting standards and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Establish and strengthen financial controls, internal controls and risk management systems.
- Review commercial contracts, purchase/sales terms and other major financial commitments.
- Partner with Plant Head and senior management on commercial and operational decision-making.
- Evaluate business performance through financial and operational KPIs.
- Support expansion, capacity enhancement and other strategic projects through financial evaluation and feasibility analysis.
- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with robust finance leadership experience.
- 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Steel, Iron, Metals or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong experience in Plant Finance, Costing, FP&A;, MIS and Commercial Finance.
- Experience in a large manufacturing/steel plant environment will be highly preferred.
