Willingness to travel frequently between hub and spoke sites as required for project-related activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Scientist will serve as the hub coordinator and will be the single point of coordination between FMR, the validation hub, and its spoke sites. The primary responsibility is manage day to day operations of the project, study implementation and data management for their hub and spoke network. Specific Responsibilities are:
- Ensure implementation of study SOPs at hub and the associated spokes.
- Oversee study logistics ensuring every spoke site is equipped with sample collection kits and data collection tools
- Supervise data flow from the field: ensure sample collectors capture complete baseline data for every enrolled child and report it to you
- Supervise the hub's research data pipeline: collate field data, complete KOBO electronic data capture forms, and manage source documentation on the study's NAS system
- Coordinate with the hub for reference sample collection/processing and with the lab technician for mask sample processing
- Collate results from the hub and share with FMR; maintain patient logs per spoke and track follow-up dates
- Travel to spoke-site for smooth study implementation, site monitoring, supervising the study procedures,
collecting missing data and conducting refresher training
- Manage study documentation and supply chain: collecting original study documents and vouchers, and reviewing/replenishing study materials so spoke-site operations never stall
- Send reminders to sample collectors for scheduling patient follow-up visits as per schedule
- Collate follow-up data (including X-ray interpretations at 2 and 6 months) and complete KOBO follow-up forms
- Make documented efforts to identify incomplete or missing information from spoke sites and ensuring completion and quality of all study records
- Contribute to writing scientific papers for publication
- Any other tasks required for the implementation of project workflow assigned by project coordinator, PIs and site study investigators
essential skills
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
- Clinical data interpretation and documentation
- Strong time management, organisational ability, attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision; problem-solving and resourcefulness
- Open to take on broad responsibilities
DESIRABLE skills
Experience in paediatric or respiratory medicine
- Prior clinical research or patient care experience
- Personal vehicle to commute
