About the Role:
We are looking for an Embedded and Flight Software QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to support verification and validation of embedded controllers, flight software, hardware interfaces, and software delivery pipelines. The role requires robust hands-on skills in test planning, requirements analysis, test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and automation across hardware and software environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze system, software, and hardware requirements and derive detailed verification objectives.
Create, review, and maintain test plans, test procedures, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Execute functional, integration, regression, interface, and system-level tests for embedded and flight software.
Perform testing using both hardware-in-the-loop and software-based simulation environments.
Verify controller behavior, communication interfaces, device drivers,



sensor/actuator integration, and fault handling logic.
Support DevOps and CI/CD workflows for automated build, test, quality checks, and release validation.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and utilities using Python, C, and C++ where applicable.
Log, track, debug, and verify defects in collaboration with embedded software, firmware, systems, and hardware teams.
Ensure compliance with defined test processes, documentation standards, review practices, and quality gates.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, automation strategy, and verification efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
3–4 years of experience in embedded software QA, flight software QA, firmware testing, or related verification roles.
