Role Description The Audit Associate will support audit engagements by assisting in planning, executing, and documenting financial and compliance audits for a variety of clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed testing of financial transactions and balances, reviewing financial statements for accuracy and compliance, preparing working papers, and identifying potential control weaknesses or process improvements. The role involves collaborating with senior team members,



communicating with client personnel to obtain information and clarifications, and ensuring that audit procedures align with qualified standards and firm policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular interaction with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of Financial Statements and core Finance concepts relevant to audit and assurance work.
Auditing and Financial Audits skills, including familiarity with audit methodologies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
2-3 years of relevant experience and relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; pursuing or holding professional qualifications (e.g., CA or equivalent) is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office tools; experience with audit or accounting software is beneficial.
