About The Role

We are seeking a skilled WordPress & PHP Developer with 6 months to 1 year's experience in custom theme and plugin development, PHP-based back-end programming, and full-stack WordPress development. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of WordPress architecture and demonstrate the ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code. This role involves creating, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic WordPress websites and custom PHP applications tailored to our clients' business needs.

The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, UI/UX specialists, and project managers to deliver responsive, high-quality digital solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have up to 1 year of professional experience in web development, specifically with WordPress and PHP.



Proficiency in core programming languages including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery is essential.

Experience working with MySQL databases and understanding of WordPress core functionalities, custom themes, plugins, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is required. A positive grasp of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles is necessary to ensure seamless user experiences across devices. Familiarity with hosting environments such as cPanel, FTP, or local development tools like XAMPP or Local WP is preferred.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are vital for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are also key to facilitate effective collaboration within teams. The candidate should be self-motivated, responsible, team-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects efficiently while being open to exploring new technologies.

Responsibilities

- Develop custom WordPress themes and templates from scratch using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Create and manage custom post types, taxonomies, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) based page builders to enhance website functionality.
- Design and develop custom plugins or extend existing ones utilizing action and filter hooks to meet specific project requirements.
- Build reusable, efficient PHP functions and modules to optimize code maintainability and performance.
- Handle WordPress site setup, configuration, migration,



and deployment to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform performance tuning, security hardening, and SEO optimization to enhance website visibility and robustness.
- Debug and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks to maintain high-quality standards.
- Integrate third-party APIs such as RESTful services, CRMs, and payment gateways to extend website functionalities.
- Collaborate with designers, UI/UX teams, and project managers to deliver responsive, pixel-perfect front-end designs.
- Maintain version control of codebases using Git, document development processes, and adhere to best coding practices.
