We are looking for
Engineers who can take the latest advances in robotic welding, automation, and machine vision and turn them into working systems. You should be fluent in welding processes, robot programming, and welding automation, and more importantly, you should have an in-depth understanding of these topics to solve problems that don’t come with ready-made solutions. If you’re excited by the challenge of turning cutting-edge research into precise, repeatable welding systems that can operate in the toughest environments, you’re the kind of person we want on our team.
Why Join Us?
At Armatrix, you will design and deploy completely novel and robust robotic welding systems in complex environments, automating tasks that haven’t been automated before. Joining us as a Welding Engineer means you will own core welding automation systems end to end. From design and simulation to real-world deployment, you will make critical technical decisions, with the freedom to experiment, and the responsibility to make it real!
Key Responsibilities
- Program and deploy robotic welding systems on ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, and collaborative robots.
- Design, plan, and optimize welding paths and custom toolpaths for precision, quality, and repeatability.
- Integrate vision systems and sensors for real-time seam tracking, weld monitoring, and defect detection.
- Build end-to-end welding automation solutions, from design and 3D simulation to production deployment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Welding, or Automation Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with robotic welding automation, cobot applications, and intelligent manufacturing systems.
- Experience programming ABB and Fanuc industrial and team-oriented robots.
- Experience with Multipass Welding and Welding parameter optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Python and C++ for automation, data analysis, and vision-based algorithms.
- Skilled in 3D modeling, simulation, and design (SolidWorks, robotic cell simulation).
- Hands-on expertise with computer vision and AI (OpenCV, point cloud processing, defect detection).
- Plus points for research-oriented development in robotic welding, enhancing precision, quality, and repeatability.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation
- Flexible work timings
- Medical Insurance
- Relocation Assistance (if applicable)
