About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor on a part-time basis to produce engaging, high-retention short-form educational and marketing content.

You will be responsible for taking raw footage (tutor sessions, student stories, founder talks, and marketing hooks) and turning them into polished, thumb-stopping videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and ad campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and deliver 6–8 high-quality videos per week (average duration: 1.5 – 2 minutes each).
- Turn raw footage into snappy, well-paced content with strong hooks and high viewer retention.




- Add dynamic captions/subtitles, motion graphics, screen overlays, and b-roll.
- Enhance sound quality with clean audio leveling, sound effects (SFX), and suitable background scores.
- Maintain visual consistency with Paathshala’s brand tone (warm, approachable, educational).
- Collaborate closely with our marketing team to iterate based on feedback and viewer performance.

Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience editing short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, or video ads).
- Proficiency with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro (plus basic After Effects for text animations/overlays).
- Strong sense of visual pacing, comedic/dramatic timing, and hook design.
- Excellent audio sense (clean cuts, audio balancing, sound effects).
- Reliable, organized, and capable of consistently meeting turnaround times.
