About MentorShield

MentorShield is an education platform designed to bring together students, educators, and AI-powered learning support. We are building engaging, concept-focused learning experiences for students in Grades 3–12.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented video Content Creator who can help us convert educational concepts into engaging video lectures.

Role: Video Content Creator – Maths Educational Lectures

Location: Remote

Type: Freelance (with potential to work full time)

What you will do

- Create engaging educational video lectures for students in Grades 3–12.
- Convert lesson concepts and teaching notes into simple, easy-to-understand visual content.
- Record and edit screen-based demonstrations where required.
- Edit instructor/tutor recordings into polished educational videos.
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, callouts, animations, diagrams, and relevant visual elements.
- Maintain a consistent visual style across MentorShield's educational content.
- Suggest creative ways to explain difficult concepts visually.
- Ensure videos are accurate, explicit, age-appropriate, and easy to follow.

What we are looking for





- Good understanding of video editing and educational content creation.
- Ability to create attractive presentations and educational visuals.
- Basic understanding of animation, motion graphics, and screen recording.
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, typography, and visual communication.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging visual explanations.
- Good English Communication Skills.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new formats.

Good to have

- Knowledge of Mathematics or Science content for Grades 3–12.
- Experience creating YouTube educational videos.
- Basic knowledge of AI tools for video, graphics, voice, or content creation.
- Experience with whiteboard-style animations or explainer videos.
- Understanding of different school curricula such as CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge and IB.

What you will NOT be required to do
- You do not need to be a teacher.
- You do not need to develop software or AI models.
- You do not need advanced graphic-design expertise if you have strong video-content skills.

Compensation

Compensation will depend on experience and quality of work.
