About the Role

We are looking for a Trainee Testing Engineer who will be responsible for assisting the engineering and testing team in inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality and functionality of electronic/electrical products and systems.

This position is suitable for Diploma holders and freshers who are interested in developing their technical skills in testing, quality inspection, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform testing and inspection of electronic/electrical products and components.

Assist senior engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and fault identification.

Use basic testing equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, and other measuring instruments.

Conduct functional and performance testing as per defined procedures.

Identify testing failures, defects, and technical issues and report them to senior engineers.

Maintain testing records, reports, and documentation.

Follow standard operating procedures, testing guidelines, and safety practices.

Support the engineering team in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.





Assist in calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.

Ensure proper handling of testing tools, equipment, and components.

Learn and apply relevant testing standards and quality requirements.

Perform any other technical responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of electronics/electrical circuits and components.

Understanding of voltage, current, resistance, and basic electrical measurements.

Familiarity with electronic testing instruments is an advantage.

Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good observation and attention to detail.

Ability to read basic circuit diagrams and technical documents.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to learn and work in a technical/testing environment.

Eligibility

Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with 0–1 year of relevant experience may also apply.

Candidates should be technically inclined and willing to learn testing and quality processes.
