Role Description The Structural CAD Draftsman will work full time on-site at the Delhi, India office, supporting the engineering team with high-quality structural drawings and models for marine and offshore projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed CAD drawings and 3D models of offshore structures, updating drawings based on engineering inputs, and ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards.



The role involves coordinating closely with structural engineers, reviewing design documents, and incorporating calculation outputs into accurate drawings.

The Structural CAD Draftsman will maintain drawing records, assist in preparing fabrication and installation drawings, and ensure all deliverables meet quality, safety, and client requirements. The position may also involve collaborating with teams using specialized structural and marine engineering software and contributing to continuous improvement of drafting practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong CAD drafting skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with 2D and 3D drafting for structural and marine applications.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering-related skills, such as understanding of steel structures, offshore structural layouts, fabrication drawings, and basic design
- Candidates should possess abilities in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and standards, with attention to dimensional accuracy and detailing.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work closely with engineers, meet deadlines, and manage multiple drafting tasks.
- Diploma or degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or marine engineering, or a related discipline, from a recognized institution.
