Job Purpose/ Summary

The Senior Engineer /Associate Manager – Electrical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the organization. The role involves planning and managing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities,



troubleshooting electrical issues, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements. The position requires close coordination with production and other departments to maintain smooth plant operations, improve equipment reliability, manage maintenance resources and contractors, and support continuous improvement.

The role also includes leading and developing the electrical maintenance team and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibility

Align maintenance activities with customer requirements and maintain effective communication with departments such as Operations and Quality to ensure timely maintenance supportbrMonitor equipment performance and reliability using maintenance data such as MTTR and MTBF and take necessary actions to improve equipment availability and reduce downtimebrIdentify plan and execute equipment and process improvement projects based on breakdown analysis maintenance requirements and customer needs after obtaining necessary approvalsbrPrepare and maintain various maintenance reports records and performance reports as per defined SOPs and organizational requirementsbrEnsure safe electrical maintenance practices across the plant and take immediate corrective action for unsafe equipment electrical conditions or processesbrOptimize the utilization of available manpower by preparing shift schedules leave plans shutdown plans and allocating resources based on operational requirementsbrMentor and develop team members through effective work allocation onthejob training OJT guidance performance improvement initiatives and identification of training needs TNI for external training programs
