About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and optimizing our database systems to ensure they operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. Your expertise will support the development of scalable data solutions, facilitate seamless integration with applications, and contribute to the overall performance and security of our data infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, performance tuning, and data security, with a passion for solving complex data challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of MySQL database architecture, administration, and optimization techniques. Proficiency in SQL query writing, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views is essential. Additionally, familiarity with database design principles,



normalization, indexing, and backup/recovery processes is required.

Experience with version control systems like Git, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be highly valued. Relevant certifications and prior experience working with large-scale database systems will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and associated database objects to meet business requirements.
- Create, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support application functionality.
- Design and implement efficient database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Monitor database performance, conduct query optimization, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high system efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Perform routine database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities to prevent data loss and ensure system availability.
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and application teams to facilitate seamless database integration and support ongoing projects.
- Support database migration, upgrades,



and deployment activities to ensure smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to database structures, processes, and procedures.
- Implement and enforce database security measures, including access controls and user permissions, to safeguard sensitive information.
