Job Title: Python Developer (2–4 Years Experience)

Job Overview

We are looking for a mid-level Python Developer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, writing clean and testable code, and integrating third-party APIs and databases. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, database engineers, and product managers to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development: Build, test, and maintain productive, reusable, and scalable backend services using Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).

API Integration & Design: Design, develop, and consume secure RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and external services.

Database Management: Write optimized database queries, design schemas, and handle object-relational mapping (ORM) using SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, readable, and well-documented code. Implement automated testing (PyTest, Unittest) to maintain code quality and reliability.

Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, query efficiency, and system responsiveness.

Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups,



sprint planning, code reviews) and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience using Python.

Frameworks: Hands-on experience with at least one Python backend framework (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).

Databases: Strong proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM). Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.

API & Protocols: Experience in building RESTful Web APIs, understanding HTTP methods, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and JSON formatting.

Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows (branching strategies, pull requests).

Software Concepts: Good grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Basic understanding of containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with caching tools like Redis or task queues like Celery.

Knowledge of basic frontend technology stacks (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) or modern web frameworks.
