We are looking for a Software Engineer for our Global Product Support organization. The role involves issue investigation, root-cause analysis, technical documentation, and collaboration with engineering and support teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot complex software, application, system, and network issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis using logs, system data, and diagnostic tools.
- Develop scripts/tools for troubleshooting and automation.
- Support Linux, Windows Server, virtual machines, and network environments.
- Troubleshoot IP networking, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Work with distributed systems, data processing, and messaging platforms.
- Clearly document issues, findings, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Eligibility Criteria:

Mandatory Skills

- BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.




- 3+ years of experience in software support and troubleshooting.
- Programming/scripting experience in Python, Java, Shell, SQL, or R.
- Familiarity with Hadoop core services.
- Experience with Kafka, Flume, Solr, or similar messaging/data-processing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Command Line.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
- Hands-on knowledge of IP networking, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience with Virtual Machines.
- Good understanding of JSON and other file formats.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience with distributed systems or data pipelines.
- Experience developing automation and diagnostic tools.
