About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore or Coimbatore. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who are immediately available or have a notice period of less than 15 days.

The Senior Software

Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions within the Allscripts Practice Management platform. The role requires deep technical expertise in database architecture, stored procedures, and application functionality, especially in the context of revenue cycle management billing workflows. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions, support integration efforts, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our healthcare software systems.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, health informatics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.




- Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with specific expertise in Allscripts Practice Management.
- Proven experience working with system databases and supporting RCM billing processes.
- Experience with EDI transaction sets, clearinghouse connectivity, and healthcare data standards.
- Strong background in Agile development methodologies.
- Technical proficiency in programming languages and tools including C# ASP.Net, .Net Core, React, Node JS, SQL, and Rest API.
- Experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Deep understanding of Allscripts PM schema and core modules like scheduling, patient registration, charge entry, claims management, payment posting, and denial management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions based on user requirements, system analysis, and industry best practices.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of database tables and schemas to support reporting and integration enhancements.
- Develop custom reports and data extracts to facilitate operational and managerial decision-making.
- Build and sustain integrations between Allscripts PM and external systems such as clearinghouses, payers, and EHRs; document technical solutions,



data mappings, and process flows.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development processes and improve productivity.
- Participate actively in product development, including prototyping and validating solutions to demonstrate business value.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, discuss technical feasibility, and communicate solutions effectively.
- Conduct code reviews, adhere to compliance policies, and maintain high standards of code quality and security.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
