Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Drive technical architecture discussions and define secure, high-performance, and maintainable solutions.
- Provide hands-on leadership through code reviews, technical guidance, and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure system reliability.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration solutions.
- Establish observability standards through monitoring, logging, and performance tracking solutions.
- Support modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, platform upgrades, automation, and engineering excellence.
- Mentor and coach development teams, fostering technical growth and innovation.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, release management, and technical governance activities.

Mandatory Skills
- Java 17/21+ with robust expertise in OOP principles, Collections Framework, Streams, Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM internals, and memory management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Security.
- Proven experience in designing and developing Microservices-based architectures and REST APIs.




- Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, including query optimization and transaction management.
- Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.
- Strong exposure to AWS Cloud Services (EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/Loki.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Desirable Skills
- Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Transaction Processing Platforms.
- Exposure to API Gateway technologies such as KrakenD or similar solutions.
- Experience with Redis and caching strategies for high-performance applications.
- Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Active-Active architecture models.
- Knowledge of security standards and practices, including PCI-DSS, OWASP, and VAPT remediation.
- Experience driving cloud transformation, platform modernization, and automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, engineering productivity platforms, or analytics solutions.
- Prior experience mentoring teams and leading large-scale enterprise application development.
