Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and understand business and technical requirements, seeking clarifications where necessary.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java and related technologies.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in software design discussions and contribute to component-level design decisions.
- Work with relational databases to develop queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
- Develop and execute unit tests and support integration and performance testing activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform debugging, and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Support CI/CD processes, code reviews, and release activities.
- Work on microservices-based applications and API integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams in an Agile workplace.
- Participate in application monitoring, performance optimization, and production support activities.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC, requirement analysis, and software engineering principles.
- Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Coding Standards.




- Hands-on experience with Core Java and Java Enterprise application development.
- Experience with application servers and web servers such as Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, or Nginx.
- Working knowledge of Relational Databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or MariaDB.
- Experience in writing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools such as JUnit and related frameworks.
- Knowledge of Git-based source code management.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, or similar Java frameworks.
- Exposure to frontend technologies such as ReactJS, Angular, Bootstrap, or jQuery.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and SonarQube.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Kibana, ELK Stack, or Nagios.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
- Understanding of database tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Knowledge of Message Queues and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
