At Deepspatial (CSE: DSAI | OTCQB: DSAIF), we're building the future of student journalism through edskExpress, an AI-powered news literacy platform designed to help school students become informed, curious and responsible citizens. Powered by the edskCalibre ecosystem, edskExpress blends credible journalism with AI-driven personalization to make news meaningful for young readers.

As we scale, we're looking for a Senior Editorial Lead to define the editorial voice and communication strategy for what is poised to become India's largest student news ecosystem.

The Role

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has led a newsroom, editorial desk, or education-content vertical. Alongside editorial leadership, you'll also own the MarCom mandate for Deepspatial, shaping how the brand communicates with students, educators, partners, governments and the public.

What You'll Own

- Define the editorial vision, standards and publishing calendar across edskExpress verticals and future formats.
- Build, mentor and lead a newsroom-style editorial team, ensuring rigorous, age-appropriate editorial judgment across all content.
- Review and sign off on student-generated stories while nurturing the next generation of young journalists.
- Drive editorial collaborations with The Indian Express, OneIndia and Samagra Shiksha on syndication, co-created content and editorial standards.
- Lead MarCom for Deepspatial ,



Work closely with AI and Product teams to shape content taxonomy, personalization and learning experiences through an editorial and pedagogical lens.
- Represent edskExpress in conversations with media partners, education stakeholders and government institutions.

Who We're Looking For

- 8–12 years of experience in journalism, editorial leadership, or education-content leadership.
- Proven experience leading a newsroom, editorial desk, content vertical or publication.
- Robust editorial judgment and experience setting editorial standards.
- Experience mentoring writers, reporters or first-time contributors.
- Comfortable working across English and Hindi content; multilingual experience is an added advantage.
- Passion for EdTech, civic education, youth media and NEP 2020-aligned learning.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Compensation

₹12–18 LPA (Compensation is not a constraint for the right candidate.)

Noida (Work From Office – WFO)
