Experience: 5-7 Years (Relevant Legal Experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handling and managing all types of litigation, including:
- Civil matters
- Criminal matters
- Negotiable Instruments Act, Section 138 matters
- Labour and employment-related matters
- Other legal proceedings as required

- Handling Food Safety and Standards-related matters, including coordination with relevant authorities.
- Handling arbitration proceedings and related legal matters.
- Liaising with local government departments and authorities, including the Police Department.
- Drafting, reviewing and vetting of contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
- Drafting, reviewing and vetting of legal notices, replies and correspondence.
- Coordinating with external advocates, consultants and local authorities,



wherever required.
- Providing timely legal advice and support to the business team on local legal and regulatory matters.
- MIS reporting.

QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIESEducational Qualification

- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university

Competencies / Skills

- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in legal matters, preferably with exposure to corporate and litigation work.
- Fluency in Gujarati is mandatory and will be an essential requirement for the position.
