Job Title: Teacher Business Management & Economics (IB MYP & DP)

Experience Required: Minimum 4 to 6 Years (IB experience mandatory) Qualification: Masters degree in business management / economics / commerce or related specialisation (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning

- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with IB MYP Individuals & Societies and IB DP Business Management and Economics curricula.
- Develop inquiry-based, case-study-driven, and concept-focused learning experiences.
- Prepare students for IB DP examinations and Internal Assessments (IAs).
- Guide students in research, data interpretation, and application of business and economic theories.
- Support Extended Essays (EE) in Business Management or Economics. • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Integrate global contexts, contemporary case studies, and real-world business scenarios into lessons. Assessment & Documentation

Assessment & Documentation

- Design formative and summative assessments aligned with IB criteria. • Conduct and supervise DP Internal Assessments, ensuring IB compliance.
- Maintain accurate academic records and curriculum documentation.



• Participate in standardisation and moderation processes.

Collaboration & School Contribution

- Collaborate with department members for curriculum planning and vertical alignment.
- Participate in IB training, workshops, and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary learning initiatives, business clubs, competitions, and student enterprise activities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- In-depth understanding of IB MYP and DP curriculum and assessment criteria.
- Solid command of economic theories, business strategies, and financial principles.
- Ability to teach using case studies, research-based learning, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, communication, and classroom management skills. • Proficiency in integrating technology and digital tools into instruction.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Masters Degree in Business Management / Economics / Commerce or related field (Mandatory).
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of teaching experience, preferably within IB MYP and DP frameworks.
- Experience guiding students through DP Internal Assessments and examination preparation.
- IB workshop certification preferred.
