Senior US Accountant / Team Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior US Accountant / Team Leader to lead our accounting team and oversee end-to-end US accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with our US-based management and staff.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, processes, policies, and internal controls.
- Improve accounting systems and procedures while identifying opportunities for process enhancement and corrective actions.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and supervise team members to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Review and finalize financial reports, accounting records, and reconciliations.
- Mentor, guide, and develop team members to improve performance and productivity.
- Conduct financial research and perform detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate directly with US management and staff on accounting operations and financial reporting.




- Contribute towards achieving organizational growth objectives through efficient financial management.
- Complete additional accounting and organizational responsibilities as assigned..

Desired Candidate Profile

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in US Accounting, including review, analysis, and finalization of accounts.
- Strong US Accounting & Review experience required
- Proven team handling and leadership skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered accounting tools and automation
- Ability to identify gaps, improve processes, and drive accuracy & efficiency

Education

- B.com / M.com
- CA Inter / CA Qualified
- CPA (Pursuing or Completed) Preferred
- IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) Added Advantage
