We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and cost accounting activities for our engineering product manufacturing business. The role will work closely with production, purchase, sales, stores, and management teams to ensure accurate financial records and effective financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journals, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, ledger, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS returns, and supporting schedules in coordination with consultants/auditors.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including customer collections and vendor payments.
- Handle inventory and manufacturing accounting, including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and stock adjustments.
- Support product costing, BOM costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost analysis.
- Review purchase and sales invoices and ensure proper accounting, tax treatment, and documentation.
- Monitor expenses and assist in budgeting and cost-control activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Assist in monthly closing, provisions, accruals, depreciation, and year-end closing.
- Prepare MIS reports related to sales, expenses, inventory, receivables, payables, profitability, and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and maintain proper documentation.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related reports.
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, and Indian taxation.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting and inventory accounting.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and product costing.
- Good understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and working capital.
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP / SAP / Oracle or similar accounting software.
- Good command of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial reporting.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet monthly closing deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in an engineering/manufacturing company.
- Experience with ERP-based accounting and manufacturing processes will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
