Position: Field Surveyor
Location: Ambala, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar
Role Overview:
The Field Surveyor will be responsible for ground-level field data collection, farmer engagement, and monitoring implementation practices for Varaha’s project across targeted clusters in Punjab
Key Responsibilities:
Interact with local farmers to register land details,
draw KML, capture crop management practices, and DSR adoption metrics.
Ensure high data quality, timely submission of daily field reports, and accuracy in mapping.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Prior experience in agricultural field surveying, carbon projects, or rural field execution is preferred
Basic understanding of DSR (Direct Seeded Rice) practices
Familiarity with smartphone applications for location tagging, survey forms, and data entry
Solid communication skills in local languages (Punjabi for Punjab/ Hindi).
Willingness to travel extensively across assigned field clusters in Punjab and Haryana.
Mandatory-
1) The candidate must own Bike/ Scooty/ any 2 wheeler for field travel (Petrol reimbursement will be given)
2 The candidate must know Punjabi, Hindi and Basic English
3) This is a field role candidate must be willing to travel everyday
