Job Title: SAP BTP ABAP Consultant

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid role)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, SAP BTP, ABAP on HANA and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM). The candidate will work on developing and deploying modern SAP applications across SAP S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver SAP ABAP custom developments with high quality and on-time delivery.
- Work on SAP BTP Extensibility and SAP Business Technology Platform solutions.
- Develop and maintain CDS Views, SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, OData services and APIs.
- Develop, deploy and configure applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry using CAPM.
- Configure SAP BTP Launchpad/Work Zone and related services.
- Work with BTP services including HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Workflow Management and Document Service.
- Configure BTP destinations for cloud and on-premise systems.
- Work with OAuth-protected REST APIs and third-party/non-SAP integrations.
- Perform ABAP development involving Reports, Forms, Interfaces, Conversions and Enhancements.
- Work on OData, IDocs, Proxies, Workflow and HANA-related activities.
- Apply ABAP OO concepts, debugging, code inspection, unit testing and clean-code practices.




- Prepare technical specifications and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, senior developers and stakeholders on solution design and code reviews.

Mandatory Skills

- 510 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP ABAP / SAP BTP.
- Strong experience in ABAP on HANA.
- Experience with SAP CAPM / CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and UI5.
- Strong knowledge of CDS Views, OData and APIs.
- Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
- Knowledge of BTP services such as HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Workflow and Destinations.
- Experience with third-party/non-SAP integrations.
- Good knowledge of ABAP OO, debugging and SAP Code Inspector.
- SAP ABAP certification is required.
- Good communication and technical documentation skills.

Positive to Have

- Knowledge of Java or Node.js.
- Experience with OAuth and REST APIs.
- Experience with IDocs and Proxies.
- Knowledge of SAP Work Zone / Launchpad Service.
- Experience with Adobe Forms / Smart Forms.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software design principles.
