JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 3–5 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS administration, system monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning and technical support.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, analytical and customer-handling skills with the ability to manage technical incidents and production support activities.

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS
- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP and JAVA systems
- Experience in SAP installation, patching and upgrade activities
- Knowledge of SAP Web Dispatcher configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with SSL, SSO and certificate management
- Knowledge of certificate renewal and establishing trust between systems
- Experience with SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS)
- Knowledge of SAP job scheduling and printer administration
- Experience in SAP system monitoring and performance tuning
- Monitoring of work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks and traces
- Experience handling system outages and customer technical bridge calls
- Knowledge of alerts configuration and performance optimization
- Experience with backup, restore and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Strong incident, change and problem management experience
- Good understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

ADDITIONAL SKILLS Knowledge of the following applications will be an advantage:
- SAP BOBJ
- SAP BODS
- SAP Cloud Connector
- SAP Content Server

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support and administration for multiple SAP environments including development, testing and production systems.
- Monitor SAP systems and ensure system availability, stability and performance.
- Manage SAP transports and maintain the integrity of the SAP setting.
- Perform installation, patching, upgrades and technical maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and handle critical production incidents.
- Perform performance monitoring and tuning activities.
- Manage SAP backup, restore and recovery procedures.
- Support High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments.
- Participate in technical migration and system improvement projects.
- Handle incident, service request, change request and problem management activities.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement preventive solutions.
- Participate in customer calls, knowledge transfer and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with international teams and support knowledge-sharing activities.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
