Job DescriptionJob Summary:
NThe Application Engineer will be responsible for supporting product design, development, and validation activities by applying strong engineering fundamentals, analytical skills, and technical expertise. The role involves close collaboration with design, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure robust product performance and manufacturability.
NKey Responsibilities:
NWork closely with design and development teams to translate customer
Nrequirements into robust engineering solutions.
NConduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential
Nrisks and define corrective actions.
NPerform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure design feasibility and product
Nfit/function.
nApply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) principles for exact
Nengineering drawings and dimensional control.
NSupport prototype build, design reviews, and validation testing activities.
NCollaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to address design and process
Nissues.
nPrepare and maintain engineering documentation,



specifications, and reports.
NProvide technical supportto customers and internal stakeholders throughout the
Nproduct lifecycle.
nEducation and Experience
NBachelors/Diploma degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering or related field.
N58 years of experience ina Design and Application engineering role within the automotive domain.
NRequired Skills:
NGood manufacturing knowledge in Plastics and Sheetmetal parts.
NProficiency in CAD tool CATIA-V5 is must. (Part Modelling, GSD, Drafting,
NAssembly)
nStrong knowledge of DFMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T;, and general
Nmechanical design principles. Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and design
Noptimization techniques.
NGood understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product validation
Nmethods.
nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
NAbility to work independentl
