Role: Sales & Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Executive - Marketing & Sales to handle marketing & outreach activities for our heritage site the erstwhile Aguad Fort & Jail premises.

This role would entail a combination of Marketing & Outreach Management for the entire multi-use complex comprising the old Jail premises, the Digital Museum, Art and Exhibition Galleries, on site Food and Beverage establishments, as also a number of events held at multiple venues within the premises from time to time.

Duties :

- Reach out to the targeted segment(s) and physically meet and introduce the concept of the Aguad as a great venue for them. The Executives need to serve, over time, as a trusted advisor, understanding clients event goals and providing tailored recommendations.
- The Executives would need to proactively reach out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calling and email campaigns. They would also work towards developing and executing lead generation strategies to expand our client base and increase bookings.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to create compelling pitches and support materials.
- Provide prompt follow-up and personalised support to leads and inquiries.
- Conduct regular visits to clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and foster future partnerships.

Qualifications, Experience & Skill requirements:

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Art History, or a related field.
2. Possesses a charismatic personality with an inherent ability to make connections, network,



and build bonds with clients by understanding and addressing their needs and requirements. Must be very comfortable doing face to face interactions and be able to effectively pitch the Aguad
3. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients, as well as proficiency in email and proposal drafting

In addition:

1. Enthusiasm for the hospitality and events industry, coupled with a keen interest in cultural tourism would be an advantage.
2. Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
3. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software is preferred. Must be able to manage strong lead generation skills through market research, email marketing, networking, and gathering information in the market.
4. Preference will be given to candidates who are native to Goa or have spent a significant amount of time in the region, demonstrating a strong understanding/connection to the

local culture and community.
1. Possession of a valid two-wheeler licence and access to own two-wheeler is essential (for commuting to various client meetings and events)
2. Demonstrates a strong work ethic, follows processes diligently, and exhibits self-motivation to achieve goals.

Preferred candidate profile :

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1-5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Hospitality, Tourism, or Events.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Comfortable with field visits, face-to-face meetings, lead generation, cold calling, and sales pitching.
- Good knowledge of Goas local market, tourism, hospitality, and events ecosystem preferred.
- Willing to work in flexible timings, including Sundays and public holidays, as per Company requirements.
- Language Preference: Marathi, Konkani, Hindi, and English.
- Work Location: Work from office; candidates should be willing to travel daily to the Aguad locations.
